The Thrive Team

Tobys story began at Fulham FC, where he first joined the club as an U8. He progressed through the age groups up until U16’s, spending 9 years at the club. He then went on to sign for Charlton FC, where he spent 1 season, before signing scholarship forms at Nottingham Forest FC.

 

Toby gained huge experience whilst at Nottingham Forest, going on to sign his first professional contract at the age of 17. During his 5 years at Nottingham Forest, Toby was named in the first team match day squad several times in the championship and was made captain of the U23 team at the age of 18, where he learned to develop vital leadership skills and also gained vast experience during loan spells as a teenager. Toby has since then gone on to make several first team appearances for the likes of Woking, Aldershot Town and most recently Ebbsfleet United.

Toby is a FA Level 2 qualified football coach and has developed a love and passion for passing on his knowledge on what it takes to move up the ranks in the system and becoming a professional footballer.

Cam came into the football game relatively late. After having played youth team football for Met Police, he was scouted for Reading at the age of 17. He spent 3 years at Reading, from the age of 17-20. Reading is a category 1 academy, which is the highest level you can play at an academy level. This enabled Cam to play against some of the biggest teams like Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal etc.

 

After Reading, he signed for Watford, this was Cam's first experience of what Premier League football was like. Training with the likes of Deeney, Deulofeu, Capoue etc was a fantastic learning curve.

 

Finally, Cam's most recent club was Wrexham. He played for Wrexham for 2 years, it was a great time for Cam to get minutes in first team football. During his scholar at Reading, Cam became a Level 2 football coach and now has aspirations to train and develop the younger generation.

Toby is an accomplished football coach with a strong background in developing young talent. With previous experience working within Woking Academy, he has demonstrated his commitment to nurturing aspiring players and helping them reach their full potential.

 

With a keen focus on player development, Toby possesses exceptional people skills that enable him to connect with his clients on both personal and professional levels. His ability to motivate and inspire young players has been a driving force behind their growth and success. Toby's dedication to fostering a positive environment has earned him respect among players, parents, and fellow coaches alike.
